Our goal is to have a place for large animals to get the care and shelter they need in an emergency. We have been working our long range plan towards this goal since 2006, but both of us have been “animal rescuers” all our lives. We want to share with you our progress here.

We brought in our first cut of the 2009 hay crop. It has been a very dry year, so there wasn’t a whole lot of it, but it looks better than last year’s! You may be aware that our field was grown over with brush and willow, 12 feet tall in some areas after being let go for over 15 years. The field is starting to come back, and the Mustangs are loving the grass hay we grew for them!
